This is one from the 20 best Rums in the highest Premium category. The first maturation is in oak barrels, the second in spanish oloroso sherry barrels. The result is a delicate fusing of complex flavours giving rise to a rum of unparalleled excellence.

Medium deep gold. Very attractive nose with hints of banana, chocolate and vanilla. Very slight spicy note in the background with some floral attraction. Rich in the mouth with fine depth of complex flavours in a delicate fusion of all the nose suggested with additional hints of butterscotch. Super smooth across the palate with fine balance and long length. Some caramel and honey in fine finish.
