Tyrconnell 10 years Sherry Cask with 700 ml. and 46 % volume.

After 8 years maturation come this whisky for another 2 years in a Sherry Cask. The Tyrconnell Whisky is sweet, fruity and in the nose with honey and citrus fruits. Nose opens with honey and citrus with some decided sherry notes. Good malty note follows with fine floral backing. Rich and full in the mouth where all the flavours follow the nose with addition of tangerine . Good and soft yet there is firm oak grip. Light notes of toffee and butterscotch creep into the frame just ahead of long, well controlled finish. Delightful, well balanced whiskey.
