The Talisker Distiller Edition 1999 was distilled 1999 and bottled 2010. Double matured first in oak barrels and second in Jerez Amoroso Casks. This is the only Distillery on the Isle of Skye, is a brilliant bitter sweet harmony of taste, Its crisp peat softens, not to pepper, but to richt sweet fruit.

Abgerundeter Klassiker4.00out of 5(29.12.2009) Es ist toll, wie positiv sich die zusätzliche Lagerung in Amoroso-Fässern auf den Sky-Malt auswirkt. Er wird runder, "süffiger", ohne dass der ursprüngliche Inselcharakter des Talisker Classic Malt verloren geht.
