The Springbank 1996 Marsala Wood Finish was bottled Cask Strength, not filtered or coluored. Matured for 7 years in Sherry Casks and for two more years in fresh Marsala Casks. Bottled August 2006. A sweet Malt with Aroma from fruits and nuts and chocolate. Marsala and Springbank in perfect Harmonie.

8.25 from 10 points from Whisky Magazin from Arthur Brown. Comment: Bags of flavour and a good duel between cask and spirit.
