Port Ellen 1982 Gordon & MacPhail, bottled 2009

Port Ellen 1982 from Gordon and MacPhail with 700 ml. and 43 % Vol. This great Whisky from the Connoisseurs Choice Colection is bottled 2009 after 27 years. Some competitor sell the 1982 for much higher prices with 2006 bottling. This whisky is a good purchase. In the nose peaty with some citrus notes. The palate is delicate ash and fruity, because matured in a refill sherry cask. The finish is peat smoke with a spicy edge.
