Polignac Cognac XO

Polignac Cognac XO with 700 ml. and 40 % vol. This XO Prince Hubert de POLIGNAC is a blend of eaux-de-vie from the most renowned cru (growth): Grande Champagne.

This first cru of the Cognac Area is famous for the exceptional quality of the eaux-de-vie it produces.
It benefits from a micro-climate and very chalky soil, and only the Grande Champagne cognacs develop such a richness and full bouquet after years of ageing in French oak barrels.

With its deep amber colour, the rich and elegant XO Grande Champagne Prince Hubert de POLIGNAC reveals touches of dried and candied fruit. Slightly spiced, it also develops aromas of sweet almond. Its length on the palate will delight you with fragrances of vanilla and cinnamon, enhanced by the specific and slightly honeyed flavour of Charentais “rancio”. On the rocks as an aperitive, it will also be highly enjoyable in a snifter glass with a good cigar.
