Macallan 18 years Fine Oak with 700 ml. and 43 % volume.
This 18 years old Single Highland Malt has a exotic floral nose. The Palate is soft and rich, with hints of citrus, spice and wood smoke.
Dave Broom, Whisky Magazine:
Nose: Rounded, some complexity. Fresh malt, hemp rope, burnt grass. Sweetens into toffee, sultana, soft fruits.
Palate: Mouthfilling. Banana split, milk chocolate and juicy fruits but sufficient crisp oak and malt to balance.
Finish: Medium length. Creamed coconut, popcorn.
Comment: The best balanced of the youngsters. Everything is beginning to fill out. A 'drink me' malt!
