Bottled as Single Highland Malt and matured in Oloroso and Fino Sherry Casks from Jerez Spain. The palate is spice and citrus balanced with a nutty maltiness. Finish is sweet toffee with spice and light oak.

Zweifellos ein guter Whisky, allerdings trauere ich den alten Macallan Abfüllungen nach. Er hat leider nicht mehr die frühere Klasse als Macallan noch ausschlieslich seine eigenen, eigens in Spanien angefertigten Sherryfässer benutzte und als Mercedes unter den Speymalts galt.
