With a spicy bouquet of sherried smoke and aromatic peat, its full flavour has a rich smokiness and tones of heather honey. The finish is long, medium sweet, then medium dry. Satisfying.

Top Single Malt3.50out of 5(17.04.2007) Für alle Fans eines süssen Malt Whiskys. Hier seid Ihr wirklich richtig. Ich würde den Abgang nicht flach nennen. Dieser Malt ist nicht zu vergleichen mit dem 12 jährigen. Dieser hiers ist Honig und Karameltönig. Der Abgang ist sehr sanft....

Nicht wirklich ein Knaller3.00out of 5(11.02.2007) Der Highland Park 16y hat viel weniger Rauch als der 12-jährige und ist süßer. Im Vergleich zum 18-jährigen ist er aber geradezu flach zu nennen, der Abgang ist eine Enttäuschung. Auch nach dreimaligem Tasting hat mich diese Flasche nicht voll...
