Glen Garioch 8 Years. 70 cl. and 40 % volume. A Single Highland Malt.
Nose opens with light aromas of malt, good floral notes, vanilla and some delicate oak. Rich and creamy in the medium bodied mouth with fudge and more sweet malt. Seems very youthful. Delightful little dram.

I have always enjoyed Glen Garioch as one of the few peaty whiskies still made in the Highlands. I hope this peaty character does not totally vanish."

Wahnsinns Whisky, traf absolut meinen Geschmack. Leicht Torfig und absolut harmonisch, dazu gesellt sich eine verhaltene Süße die sehr gut dazu passt.

Nach dem Probieren dieses "nur" 8 Jahre alten Whisky ist verständlich, warum er zum "Besten Single Malt unter 12 Jahren" gewählt wurde!
