This Crown Royal Black is the latest offering from our friends from the North, Crown Royal Black. The nose shows the pronounced influence of the wood with scents of dry oats, maple, ginger snaps, cola, oily pecans and a touch of caramel/vanilla. The flavors continue in a supple mouth feel that builds to include dried dark fruits (fig, dates, prunes) all carried in idyllic sweetness. The finish is warm, lingering long enough to show off all of the niceties once more. Try this neat, on ice, in a tasty cocktail or however you wish— very nice. |
