A Single Islay Malt Whisky peaty and salty. Its a great Islay Whisky for a cheap price and very popular.

International Spirits Challenge 2005 Goldmedaille;Silbermedaille - MUNDUSvini 2004;

Nose: Emphatic burnt grass. Peaty. Soft smokiness.
Palate: Fragrant smokiness seems to waft against an oily, earthy, background. Some seaweed. Some sherry.
Finish: Not only is the smokiness sustained all the way through, it surges in the finish. Lots of salt, too.

In einer Whiskey Probe haebn wir diesen Whiskey probiert und waren begeistert. Der Abgang rauchig.
Empfehlenswert.

mir gefällt der leicht erkennbare torfige Geschmack, typisch für Islay, die angenehme Wärme auf der Zunge, ohne zu brennen. Ich trinke ihn pur, zimmerwarm und nicht zum Essen. Für mich ist er eine Kostbarkeit und ich gehe sparsam mit ihm...
